Markus Jopp has extensive experience in digital transformation and project management, currently serving as the Bereichsleitung Digitalisierung und Organisation at Stadt Augsburg since May 2014. Key responsibilities include leading organizational consulting, managing digital transformation projects, overseeing change and process management, and implementing the rollout of the E-File. Previous roles at Stadt Augsburg involved establishing project management competencies and developing a city-wide digitalization strategy. Prior to this, Markus Jopp worked at IT-Systemhaus der Bundesagentur für Arbeit, where project management for operational data restructuring and product management for various IT systems were key focuses. Earlier experience includes serving as an employment counselor at Bundesagentur für Arbeit. Markus Jopp holds a Diplom-Kaufmann in Betriebswirtschaftslehre from Bayerische Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg.
