Sabine Meigel

Sabine Meigel currently serves as the Amtsleitung of the Amt für Digitalisierung und IT at Stadt Konstanz since January 2025. Prior experience includes the role of Head of Department for Digital Agenda in the Lord Mayor's Department at the City of Ulm from January 2018 to January 2025, where the team expanded from 2 to 14 interdisciplinary members. Meigel has also held positions such as Leitung at Familienbildungsstätte Göppingen, leading digital education initiatives, and Leiterin of the Europabüro Brüssel for Wirtschaftsförderung Region Stuttgart GmbH, focusing on digitalization for regional marketing. Early career experiences include a directorial role at Stadt Ulm and significant contributions in GIS administration and European coordination at Regionalverband Donau-Iller. Meigel’s educational background includes a Diplom-Ingenieurin in Landespflege from the Technical University of Munich and a postgraduate degree in Geoinformatics from Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg.
