Ina Homeier has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Ina currently holds the position of Abteilungsleiter Stellvertreterin at Stadt Wien, Stadtentwicklung und Stadtplanung since May 2022.

In 1994, Ina Homeier joined the City of Vienna, Urban Planning and Development as the Head of Smart City Vienna Unit, a role they still hold to this day.

In 2009, they became the Owner of Gutes aus Portugal, a business venture they continue to oversee.

From 2009 to 2016, Ina Homeier worked as an Evaluator for the European Commission.

Between 2006 to 2009, they were a joint owner of innovation point.
