Bettina Furrer

Bettina Furrer serves as the Amtsleiterin at the Amt für Stadtentwicklung in Stadt Winterthur since December 2020 and is a Verwaltungsrätin at Zürcher Kantonalbank since July 2019. Previously, Bettina held several prominent positions including Verwaltungsrätin at Technopark Winterthur AG, and served on the Sustainability Advisory Boards for Bank Cler and Basler Kantonalbank. Academic experience includes serving as Professor and Head of Institute at ZHAW School of Engineering and as a University Lecturer, spanning from 2004 to 2018. Prior to academia, Bettina was Group Head of Corporate Responsibility at UBS. Educational credentials include a PhD in Management, Technology and Economics from ETH Zürich, supplemented by various certifications in applied information technology and risk management.
