Karin Fischer

Karin Fischer has extensive experience in the legal and social services fields, currently serving as the President of the KESB Winterthur-Andelfingen and the Head of the Guardianship Office at the Stadt Winterthur since March 2008. Prior to these roles, Karin Fischer was the Deputy Secretary of the Guardianship Authority in Winterthur and served as a Peace Judge from July 1997 to February 2004. Earlier in the career, Karin Fischer worked as a Legal Secretary and Auditor at the District Court of Winterthur from February 1995 to June 1997. Academic accomplishments include a Doctorate in Law from the University of Zurich (2004-2007), Mediator Training from the Eidos Project Mediation Institute (2000-2001), and a Licentiate in Law from the University of Zurich (1989-1994).
