Martina Blum

Martina Blum currently serves as Stadträtin and Vorsteherin of the Departement Schule und Sport at Stadt Winterthur, as well as President of the Schulpflege since September 2023. Previously, Martina held the role of Principal Business Consultant for Sustainability Innovation at Zühlke Group from May 2022 to August 2023 and was a Member of the City Parliament in Stadt Winterthur until July 2023. From October 2013 to March 2022, Martina worked as Deputy Energy Officer at Stadt Zürich, where responsibilities included implementing the Energy Master Plan and ensuring compliance with the European Energy Award Gold. Additional experience includes advisory roles in energy-related organizations and sustainability initiatives, as well as leadership in environmental management positions at AXA and Swiss Re. Education includes an MSc in Ecological Economics from The University of Edinburgh and an Executive MBA in Digital Transformation from the University of Applied Sciences HTW Chur.
