Christian Berkenberg

Christian Berkenberg is an IT buyer at Stadt Wuppertal since August 2016, responsible for the procurement of software and hardware, involvement in tender processes, and participation in budget planning for the Department of Information Technology and Digitalization. Prior to this role, Christian served as a case manager for budget planning in the Roads and Traffic Department and participated in annual closing activities and controlling. Christian completed a master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on New Public Management from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Dortmund and holds a bachelor's degree in Administrative Business Management from Fachhochschule für öffentliche Verwaltung NRW. Additional experience includes an internship in economic policy at the Landesvertretung Nordrhein-Westfalen bei der EU and roles in accounting and management assistance at Gebrüder Nolte GmbH & Co. KG, as well as an internship in human resources at GKN Automotive.
