Jim Heit

Jim Heit has extensive experience in safety management and transportation, holding various positions across multiple companies. Currently retired since December 2022, Jim has been a part-time driver with STAFFORCE since December 2004, maintaining a Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Previously, Jim served as Manager of Shipping & Transportation at Coastal Shower Doors, overseeing product shipments and motor carrier operations. Jim’s roles included consulting at Transportation Safety & Services, directing safety at Eleets Transportation, managing safety programs at both MHF LS and FEC Highway Services, and serving as Safety Director at FMX Inc. Additionally, Jim was Regional Manager for Risk Management and Safety at CSX Intermodal Inc., where responsibilities included terminal safety and compliance programs. Jim's career in the industry began as a driver with McCain Transport. Jim's education includes studies at Aquinas Institute of Rochester from 1958 to 1961.
