Amanda Payne

Amanda Payne is a Senior Lecturer and Course Leader in Visitor Attraction and Resort Management/Events Management at Staffordshire University since September 2022. With extensive experience in higher education, Amanda has served as Course Leader and Lecturer in Event Management at the University of Central Lancashire since March 2013 and taught at Wigan and Leigh College from September 2012 to July 2013. Earlier experience includes a role as Artist/Event Coordinator at W. Moorcroft Plc from October 1996 to September 2010, where Amanda coordinated events in the UK and overseas. Amanda holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Tourism from the University of Central Lancashire and possesses multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in International Hospitality and Event Management with Distinction and a BA Honours in Tourism Management, showcasing a strong academic foundation in the field.
