Amanda Wilford

Amanda (Mandy) Wilford is an Associate Professor in Simulation Based Education at the University of Staffordshire, having led the implementation of simulation-based education (SBE) within the School of Health, Science and Wellbeing since October 2021. Prior to this role, Amanda accumulated extensive experience at CAE Healthcare, serving as Group Leader for the Academy - International and Clinical Education Manager, where efforts focused on enhancing patient safety through simulation pedagogy globally. Amanda's earlier career includes working as International Clinical Manager at METI and as Senior Nurse at Bristol Medical Simulation Centre, where a foundation in simulation-based education was established. Amanda is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education and holds multiple advanced degrees and certifications in education and health care simulation.
