John Melia

John Melia has a diverse work experience in the field of higher education administration. John is currently serving as the Head of Registry Operations at Staffordshire University, where they oversee various registry functions and chairs the Welcome group. Prior to this, John worked at Harper Adams University as the Deputy Academic Registrar, where they were responsible for admissions, student records, and exam administration. John also supported the Director of Academic Services in this role. John has also contributed to the HESA Data Futures Programme Board as a GuildHE Nominee. John has held previous positions at the University of Bedfordshire and the University of Hertfordshire, where they worked as a head of student records and held various roles in business analysis and alumni information management.

John Melia received a PGDip in Information Systems from the University of Hertfordshire from 2006 to 2010. John then completed their Master of Arts degree in Education from the University of Hertfordshire from 2012 to 2017.
