Rick Richard

Rick Richard has a long and varied work experience beginning in 1990 with Central Point Software, where they worked as a Software Engineer. In 1993, they moved to Second Nature Software as a Senior Software Engineer. In 1994, they founded Media Workshop, where they managed the creative, art, engineering, production, quality assurance, and technical support staff. In 1999, they co-founded PreEnroll, Inc., a venture-backed provider of SAAS, and was responsible for the design, development, and testing of several PC Tools for Windows products. In 2006, PreEnroll was acquired by The Active Network, where they worked as a Senior Product Manager. In 2010, they founded Groove Development, an iOS, Android, Node.js developers and designers based in Portland, Oregon. In 2016, they became the CEO of StaffUpApp, a company that helps staffing agencies become more competitive in the digital age. Finally, in 2021, they co-founded Parsley, a Chrome extension that bridges the gap between ATS/CRM and websites used to source talent and clients.

Rick Richard attended Orange Coast College, where they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Electronics Technology.
