Azam Mohabatian, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning over several years.
Starting in 2007, Azam worked as an SAP/ERP Expert at IKCO, where they played a crucial role in implementing various SAP modules for the company's logistics and product costing.
In 2009, they joined LatCapital Solutions in a partnership with IIHCO as a Business-Savvy SAP-Project Manager. In this role, they successfully led a large-scale IT and systems integration project worth $600 million, effectively managing a team of 52 members. Azam'sexcellent leadership skills and cost control abilities contributed to the project's success.
In 2013, Azam co-founded BlancLink and served as the Vice President of Technology. Azam was responsible for building proprietary technology to deliver affordable, high-quality products to the North American market. Through their oversight and optimization of technological performance, they ensured functionality, efficiency, and profitability.
From 2014 to 2015, Azam worked as the Vice President Operations at Blanc Labs. In this role, they oversaw finance, software development, and HR, implementing policies, procedures, and processes that resulted in a 60% performance improvement. Azam also facilitated communication between teams and divisional offices in three LatAm countries, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
In 2016, Azam joined Nekso as a Business Development Consultant and Co-Founder. Later, they took on the role of Director of Business Operations. During their tenure, they contributed significantly to the company's growth by monitoring business trends, identifying opportunities, and proposing operational and product solutions. Azam also implemented an automated system that saved $350K in quarterly operating costs.
In 2018, Azam became the COO at SPIGHT, where they played a vital role in overseeing operations. Currently, in 2020, they are a Co-Founder and COO at Stage Try.
