Paolo Bavaj

Paolo Bavaj is an accomplished professional in the field of chemical engineering and corporate development, currently serving as a Non-Executive Board Member at Relement and Chief Innovation & Corporate Development Officer at Stahl since January 2023. Previously, Paolo held various non-executive board positions representing Henkel Tech Ventures in companies such as Smartz AG, Feelit Technologies, actnano, and Copprint from 2020 to 2022, and Kriya Materials B.V. until July 2022. With a robust background at Henkel, Paolo was also the Head of Corporate Venturing and New Business Development within Adhesive Technologies, focusing on innovation strategies and new market opportunities. Paolo's extensive experience spans over two decades, including leadership roles at Celanese Emulsion Polymers, complemented by a PhD in Chemical Engineering/Organic Chemistry from RWTH Aachen University.
