Mark Kortekaas

Mark Kortekaas is the current advisor at Stainless AI. Mark was previously self-employed and has also worked as the Executive Vice President & Chief Technology Officer at Univision Communications Inc. from December 2015 to May 2019. There, they were responsible for directing integrations of audience/customer-facing platforms for Consumer Products, Advertising Operations and Engineering for univision.com, gizmodo.com, theonion.com, and fusion.tv. Additionally, they created the operational strategy to re-platform assets to drive improvements in response time and usage. Some of their notable accomplishments include leading technology integration strategy following acquisition of 3 media properties, reducing operational costs by establishing new office in Bogotá, Columbia, and completing multiple cloud migrations to AWS and GCS.

Mark Kortekaas has a MS from the Media Lab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BFA in Photography from New York University.
