Abi Hunter is a Site Reliability Engineer at Google since September 2019, focusing on the management of production services for the serving of Machine Learning models with a emphasis on scalability and resilience. Alongside this role, Abi serves as a Content Creator for Stairway to STEM, a project funded by the National Science Foundation aimed at supporting students on the autism spectrum in STEM education and career paths. Previously, Abi worked as a Software Engineering Intern at The Tuesday Company, where responsibilities included backend database maintenance, API development, and frontend mobile app development. Stairway to STEM is a free online resource for autistic students, their parents, and post-secondary STEM instructors: our mission is to help autistic students realize their capacity for success as they transition to collegiate environments and beyond, as well as to build their confidence, resilience, and self-efficacy.
