Kelly Wood

Kelly Wood has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and organizations. In 2010, they interned with Stamford Hospital as part of the Organizational & Clinical Effectiveness Group, where they contributed to performance improvement projects. From 2011 to 2015, they worked at Boston Children's Hospital as a Plastic and Oral Surgery Ambulatory Service Representative III, assisting directors and surgeons, scheduling appointments, and coordinating care for complex patients. In 2017, Kelly joined Stamford Health as a Practice Manager, overseeing operations. More recently, they have taken on the role of Director of Operations, Surgery at Stamford Health, starting in August 2022. Before their healthcare career, Kelly served as an Emergency Medical Technician at Explorer Post 53 Darien E.M.S., where they provided patient care and held officer positions from 2005 to 2007.

Kelly Wood earned a Master's Degree in Public Administration from New York University from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Management and Policy from the University of New Hampshire from 2007 to 2011. Kelly completed their high school education at Darien High School from 2003 to 2007.
