Mary Laucks

Mary Laucks, RN, M.S., CCM has extensive work experience in care management and coordination roles. Mary currently holds the position of Executive Director Care Management at Stamford Health, where they have been working since 2017. Prior to this, they served as the Director Of Care Management at the same company. From 2012 to 2017, Mary worked at UConn Health, first as the Director of Care Coordination/Patient Flow and then as the Senior Director of Specialty Services.

Before UConn Health, Mary held various positions at Saint Raphael Healthcare System. From 2010 to 2012, they were the Director of Care Management, responsible for leading a 40-employee department focused on care management, social work, transition coordinators, and denials management. Mary also had the role of Manager of Care Management from 2006 to 2010, where they successfully implemented observation status hospital-wide and managed budget fluctuations related to reimbursement.

Mary started their career at Saint Raphael Healthcare System in 1992 as a Care Manager/Clinical Appeals Coordinator, a role they held until 2006. Mary also served as a Care Manager from 1985 to 1991 and as a Staff Nurse from 1982 to 1985. Additionally, Mary worked at Professional Relief Nurses as an Assistant Administrator from 1991 to 1992, providing administrative support and maintaining an active case load as an RN Case Manager.

Mary Laucks, RN, M.S., CCM pursued their education in a chronological order. Mary attended Sacred Heart Academy from 1975 to 1979. Later, they graduated from Quinnipiac University with an ADN degree in Nursing in 1982 and a BSN degree in Nursing in 1985. Lastly, they completed their education at the University of New Haven, acquiring a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from 2013 to 2017.
