Prudence Manirakiza

Prudence Manirakiza has extensive work experience in the field of pharmacy and healthcare. Prudence'smost recent role was as the Director of Pharmacy Business & 340B at Stamford Health, where they managed the pharmacy business and oversaw the 340B program. Prior to that, they served as the Pharmacy Business Manager and 340B Support Pharmacy Manager at the same organization.

Before joining Stamford Health, Prudence worked at Esperanza Health Center, Inc. as the Pharmacy Manager for the 340B Drug Pricing Program. In this role, they were responsible for managing contract pharmacies, financial budgeting and reporting, compliance audits, inventory, dispensing, and operational management. Additionally, they served as the e-prescribing manager.

Prudence also has experience as an Independent Consultant at Pharmacie et Aides Humanitaires, where they provided consulting services. Prudence has worked as a Graduate Assistant for Research at Arcadia University, focusing on studying the relationship between NGOs and their funders. Prudence conducted qualitative and quantitative research, data gathering and coding, statistical analysis, and wrote research reports. Prudence also served as a Graduate Assistant for Arcadia University, contributing to various research projects.

In addition, Prudence has held positions as a National Pharmacist Representative for the Comoros Islands at PAH - Les Pharmaciens Humanitaires, a Graduate Research Assistant at Hopital Militaire d'Instruction Mohamed V de Rabat, a Graduate Intern at Pfizer, and a Graduate Intern at Centre Hospitalier Côte de Nacre. Prudence gained experience in pharmaceutical technology, compounding, parenteral nutrition, oncology cytostatics, and radio pharmacies during these internships.

Prudence holds multiple degrees, including a PharmD, MPH, and MA, and has a strong background in pharmaceutical sciences and public health research. Prudence has also been involved in international development as a humanitarian pharmacist in the Indian Ocean. Prudence'sprevious research focused on clinical biology and global health topics related to HIV/AIDS and cardiovascular diseases.

Prudence Manirakiza, PharmD, MPH, MA, ACE, has an extensive education history. Prudence completed a Doctorate of Pharmacy at Université Mohammed V Souissi from 2004 to 2011. In 2010 to 2011, they obtained a Certificate in Pharmacy and Humanitarian Aid from Université de Caen Normandie. Prudence also holds a Dual Masters in Public Health and International Peace and Conflict Resolution from Arcadia University, which they completed from 2011 to 2014. Furthermore, they have additional certifications, including being a 340B Apexus Certified Expert, obtained in March 2019, and Pharmacie et Aide Humanitaire, obtained in 2012.
