Adult Education Instructor at Stamford Public Schools

Cerissa Orbegoso, LCSW, currently serves as a Social Worker at Masonicare since May 2018 and as an Adult Education Instructor at Stamford Public Schools since September 2016, where Cerissa facilitates a social skills course for young adults with ASD. Previous experience includes roles as an Education Counselor at Laurel House, Inc., where therapeutic rehabilitative services were provided to adults with mental health diagnoses, and as a Behavior Therapist at SEED, where Cerissa conducted individual and group therapy sessions. Additional experience includes serving as a Domestic Violence Crisis Counselor at Greenwich YWCA, a Post Graduate Intern at United Way of Greenwich, and a Youth Options Counselor at Liberation Programs, Inc. Cerissa holds an MSW in Social Work from Fordham University and a BA in Political Science and Public Administration from Central Connecticut State University.
