Ilona Medaer

Ilona Medaer has extensive experience in the field of intellectual property, particularly in patent engineering and formalities. At Janssen, Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson and Johnson, from October 2002 to September 2004, Ilona served as a Formalities Officer, responsible for the filing and prosecution of patent applications. Since July 2020, Ilona has been employed at Stamicarbon as a Patent Engineer, focusing on invention harvesting and conducting technology studies to define search scopes, as well as executing searches across multiple databases. Additionally, Ilona has held roles as a Formality Officer and Patent Information Specialist, where responsibilities included managing documentation filing, performing various intellectual property searches, and serving as the primary contact for search requests. Ilona holds advanced qualifications in Intellectual Property Law as well as a degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Nuclear Energy, Chemistry, and Environmental Technology.
