Dan Preston is the Co-Founder and CEO of Stand, a role they have held since 2024. They have served as a board member at Dave since 2017. They co-founded AisleBuyer and served as CTO from 2011 to 2013, and the company was acquired by Intuit in 2012; they also co-founded Photrade from 2006 to 2008. They earned an M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford (2010–2012) and a B.S. in Computer Science from Brandeis University (2003–2007), and their early career included a Software Engineer Intern role at Google in 2010 as well as research assistant positions at Harvard University (2007–2008) and Tufts University (2008–2009).
