Eric Nelson

National Director Of Strategic Partnerships at Stand for Children

Eric Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Eric is currently serving as the National Director of Strategic Partnerships at Stand for Children. Prior to that, they were the owner of Stu Stu Studio Nola. Before venturing into entrepreneurship, Eric worked as a Senior Director at National Heritage Academies for a decade. Eric also served as an Area Superintendent at the Oakland Unified School District and a Principal at Seattle Public Schools. Eric started their career as a 1st and 2nd grade teacher at the Evansville Community School District.

Eric Nelson's education history begins with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching, which they obtained from the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1990 to 1996. Eric then pursued a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration at the same institution, completing it from 1997 to 1999. Later, they furthered their education by earning a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Washington, where they studied from 2006 to 2010.
