Stand for Children
Gina Rivas-Yacovetta has extensive experience in educational leadership and coaching. Currently serving as a 9th Grade Success Coach at Stand for Children since July 2021, Gina has also held the position of Principal at Jefferson County Schools since August 2009. Previously, Gina was the Assistant Principal at Chatfield Senior High from August 1995 to May 2009 and began a career in education as a Kindergarten Teacher at Pennington Elementary from August 1990 to May 1995. Gina Rivas-Yacovetta holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the University of Phoenix, completed between 1992 and 1994, and a bachelor's degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver, earned from 1985 to 1990.
