Alex Varban

Alex Varban has over 15 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, and management roles. Alex currently holds the position of Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at Stand Together. Prior to this, they served as Treasurer at Cause of Action Institute and Treasurer at AMERICANS FOR PROSPERITY FOUNDATION. Alex also worked as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at USA TODAY and Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis at Gannett Publishing Services. Alex started their career as a Supervisor of General Accounting at Gannett Offset/Army Times Publishing Company.

Alex Varban attended Towson University from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration. They had a dual concentration in Finance and International Business. In March 2010, Alex Varban obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the VBOA (Virginia Board of Accountancy).
