Reid Smith

Reid Smith is an experienced professional in foreign policy, currently serving as Vice President and Director of Foreign Policy at Stand Together since July 2022. Prior to this role, Reid held various positions at the Charles Koch Institute, including Director of Educational Outreach for Foreign Policy and Portfolio Manager for Foreign Policy Initiatives from January 2016 to March 2023. Reid's background also includes serving as Director of Development at the Cato Institute and working as a Staff Writer and Editor at FreedomWorks. Earlier experience includes roles as an Iraq analyst at the Foreign Policy Association and a Graduate Associate/Soles Fellow in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Delaware. Reid holds two Master's degrees, one from American University in Comparative and Regional Studies (2006-2008) and another from the University of Delaware (2010-2012).
