Alan Bedford-Shaw has over two decades of experience in corporate finance and development, currently serving as Head of Corporate Development at Standard Bank since October 2011. Prior to this role, Alan worked as Director of Corporate Finance at Standard Bank Group from 1998 to 2011, and began the professional career as a Trainee Accountant at Deloitte & Touche from 1991 to 1998. Alan holds a BA (Hons) in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Oxford and a BComHons in Accountancy and Information Systems from the University of Cape Town.
