Edward Southey

Edward Southey is an accomplished finance professional currently serving as the Head of Portfolio Management at Standard Bank Group since September 2021, where responsibilities include driving investment idea generation and trade onshore and offshore within the private client stockbroking platform. In addition, Edward holds the position of Director at CarbonTricity, a renewable energy startup focused on facilitating funding for smaller projects and generating tradable carbon credits. Edward previously led South Africa equity sales at Renaissance Capital from January 2020 to September 2021 and held similar roles at Macquarie Group from 2012 to 2019, covering institutional clients in South Africa, London, and Singapore.
