Ryan Kohler

Ryan Kohler has extensive experience in investment banking, currently serving as Head of Investment Banking Ventures at Standard Bank Group since May 2009. Kohler has held various roles, including in Leveraged & Acquisition Finance and Investment Banking Credit. Prior experience includes a role in Leveraged and Acquisition Finance during an international secondment at Standard Unlu from October 2008 to May 2009, and serving as an Associate in Leveraged & Acquisition Finance at Standard Bank from January 2006 to October 2008, following participation in the Investment Banking Graduate Recruitment Programme. Kohler holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Financial Analysis & Portfolio Management and a Bachelor of Commerce in Philosophy, Politics & Economics, both from the University of Cape Town, along with a Grade 12 diploma from Diocesan College (Bishops).
