Bashar Albassam

Bashar Albassam currently serves as the Head of Country Technology Management (CTM) and CIO at Standard Chartered Bank, a position held since November 2013, overseeing the management and implementation of various regulatory projects for the bank. Prior to this role, Bashar worked as an IT Network Administrator and Senior Supervisor at Asia Insurance in Iraq from February 2012 to November 2013, focusing on the development of the insurance system database and the establishment of the company's network infrastructure. Bashar holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Operations Research from AL Rafedain University College.
