Chris Parsons

Chris Parsons is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the banking sector. From August 2014 to April 2018, Chris served as Senior Executive Officer at Standard Chartered Bank’s DIFC Branch, overseeing a significant global hub with approximately 900 staff. Chris held several key positions at Standard Chartered, including Managing Director of Transformation and Change, where responsibilities included leading the design and execution of the bank's 'Brexit' strategy and enhancing financial crime compliance. As Regional Chief Operating Officer, Chris managed business efficiency and control across various banking sectors in the MENAP region. Prior to Standard Chartered, Chris served as President, CFO, and COO for Morgan Stanley Bank Moscow, and held the CFO position at Renaissance Capital. Chris began a finance career at Credit Suisse as CIS Senior Finance Officer, focusing on the finance division for Russia and Central Europe. Educational credentials include a Chartered Accountant designation from ICAEW and a degree from Lancaster University.
