Janaa Sun

Janaa Sun is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving at the London Metal Exchange since October 2019. Prior to this role, Janaa worked as a Senior Software Consultant at Amadeus IT Group and as a Senior Software Engineer at IRIS Software. Early career contributions include positions as a Development Engineer at Anritsu Ltd and an LTE Technical Research Engineer at Sharp Telecommunications of Europe Ltd, where significant advancements in LTE-Advanced technology were achieved, including contributions to the 3GPP. Janaa also conducted research as a PhD candidate at the University of Surrey, developing a physical layer simulator for OFDM systems and experimenting with signal processing algorithms. Janaa holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Communication Signal Processing for Mobile Satellite Systems from the University of Surrey and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Peradeniya.
