Karthik Vijaykumar

Karthik Vijaykumar is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in market risk and asset-liability management. Currently serving as Vice President at Standard Chartered Bank since January 2023, Karthik is responsible for group reporting and analytics related to interest rate risk in the Banking Book and is leading the transformation of the ALM reporting platform. Prior to this role, Karthik held the position of Vice President - Market Risk at Bank ABC, where responsibilities included managing market risk across several regions and leading IBOR transition efforts. Karthik's earlier experience includes being Head of Group ALM Risk at Ahli United Bank, as well as managing market risk monitoring at HSBC. Karthik holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, along with a qualification from the CFA Institute.
