Nadeeka Samaranayake

Nadeeka Samaranayake is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in banking operations across various institutions. Currently serving as the Director and Head of CCIB Operations at Standard Chartered Bank since August 2023, Nadeeka oversees trade finance, transaction banking, cash, global lending, and financial markets operations in Australia. Previously, Nadeeka held leadership positions at Deutsche Bank as the Head of Global Transaction Banking and Cash Operations, and at JPMorgan Chase Bank as Assistant Vice President of CIB Cash and Trade Operations. Nadeeka's earlier career includes a significant tenure at ICICI Bank as the Head of Operations, managing a wide array of banking services, and at Union Bank of Colombo in a managerial role focused on business development and customer service. Nadeeka holds a Diploma of Financial Planning from IIT Melbourne, an MBA in Banking and Finance from PIM, and a Bachelor's degree in Science from OUSL.
