Powell Robinson

Powell Robinson is an experienced financial professional currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Financing Solutions for the Americas at Standard Chartered Bank since September 2022. Prior to this role, Powell worked at SG Americas Securities, LLC from February 2012 to December 2022, where responsibilities included managing commercial real estate lending and asset finance as well as spearheading the “originate to distribute” model for the Americas. Powell's extensive career also includes a long tenure at Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking, where roles spanned from Managing Director overseeing Asset Monitoring and Divestiture to Head of Cross Asset Syndicate. Beginning the career as Vice President at Warren & Selbert from January 1988 to January 1997, Powell holds a BA in Economics from Vassar College, earned in 1984.
