Renu Narvekar

Renu Narvekar is the Managing Director of Tax for India & South Asia Markets at Standard Chartered Bank. Prior to this, they were with Tata Consultancy Services Limited and before that, they were in private practice.

Narvekar has over 15 years of experience in taxation, both in India and internationally. Renu has extensive experience in tax planning, compliance, and risk management. Renu has also led global transfer pricing projects for one of the world's leading banking and financial services organizations.

Under their leadership, the team at Standard Chartered Bank has achieved significant tax savings for the bank. Renu has also streamlined the risk framework and the change management program for tax, which has resulted in numerous tax changes and process improvements.

Renu Narvekar is a Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) from Bombay University. Renu also went to Convent of Jesus and Mary, Fort for their schooling.
