Tien Nguyet Long

Tien Nguyet Long is an experienced professional in AI governance and data analytics, currently serving as the Executive Director - Head of AI Safety and Standards at Standard Chartered since October 2025. Prior to this role, Tien held the position of Director of AI Governance at Prudential from February 2017 to November 2025. Tien's expertise in data management and analytics was further developed during a tenure as Project Lead in the EDW, Data & Analytics team at Barclays Investment Bank from January 2013 to February 2017. Earlier career milestones include roles as a Managing Consultant at HCL AXON, specializing in SAP BI project management, and as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting. Tien earned an MSc in Management Sciences and Operational Research, and a BSc in Management Sciences, both from the University of Warwick, along with studies at Ashbourne College.
