Standard General Inc. : A COLAS COMPANY is a major civil construction contractor that has been serving the Greater Edmonton Region for over 45 years. We build major public roadways, private developments and Industrial construction projects. Our core business is road construction and material sales.

Standard General is vertically integrated which allows us to complete quality work in an efficient and timely manner.  We have asphalt plants in Acheson, Edmonton, Leduc and we harvest our gravel from our Windfall Gravel Pit near Whitecourt, Alberta. We transport our gravel via rail to our Acheson transload facility for distribution to our various plants and depots in the Greater Edmonton Region.
