Andrew Pua

Andrew Pua is an experienced Principal Physical Design Engineer with a robust background in semiconductor design, currently employed at Microchip Technology since January 2013 and concurrently at SMSC since June 2011. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Texas Instruments, where Andrew managed physical design efforts for next-generation multi-channel Video Decoders and contributed to the integration of analog/digital interfaces for HDTV SoCs. Andrew began a career in circuit design with prominent companies such as Advanced Micro Devices and Texas Instruments, contributing to notable projects like the TI C7x MSP and the AMD K586. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Utah State University, earned between 1987 and 1993.
