David Reiner

David Reiner has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. David began their career in 2000 as a Performance Architecture Design Engineering Intern at AMD. David later joined Dell Inc. as a Mobile Performance Analysis Engineer from 2004 to 2005. David then returned to AMD in 2005 and held various roles, including Sr. Product Development Engineer and Server Power and Performance Optimization Manager.

In 2012, Reiner joined The Green Grid Association and served as Chair, TGG Server and Storage Energy (SSE) Working Group Chair, and Member of the Board of Directors. During their time at The Green Grid, they contributed to several position papers and whitepapers on server energy efficiency.

In 2015, Reiner joined the ISO - International Organization for Standardization as SC39 Chair, where they led the standardization efforts for data center efficiency. David also served as an International Standard Editor, US Delegation Representative, and Industry Expert.

Reiner also had involvement with Standard Performance Evaluation Corporation (SPEC) as President and Member of the Board of Directors. David represented AMD in this role. Additionally, they acted as an AMD Representative and Contributor for EEMBC.

Throughout their career, Reiner has been actively involved in industry standards consortiums and has represented AMD to governments and lobbyist groups on server energy efficiency regulations. David has demonstrated expertise in sustainability, IT, data centers, and server energy efficiency.

David Reiner earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University, which they attended from 1999 to 2003.
