Aaron Sahlstrom

Aaron Sahlstrom has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the technology industry. Aaron started their career at Tetra Pak Global Information Management as a Systems Analyst, where they developed data extraction programs and implemented data models for databases. Aaron then moved on to Global Software Solutions Inc. as a Lead Software Engineer/Project Manager, managing teams and coordinating the development and maintenance of E-commerce applications.

After that, Aaron joined SchlumbergerSema as a Software Engineer, where they focused on application development and collaborated with third-party providers for product adaptations. Aaron later worked at Providence Health Plans as an Application Development Team Lead, overseeing a team of developers and contractors and advising on technical decisions. At The ODS Companies, they served as the Manager of Enterprise Applications, managing both support and development of applications for claims processing and content management.

Aaron then joined Portland Public Schools as the Sr. Manager of Application Development, where they formed an Application Development Team and managed the conversion and upgrade of the Data Warehouse. Aaron then moved on to Viewpoint Construction Software as the Director of Client Services Operations. In this role, they streamlined cross-functional processes, implemented scalable processes for revenue growth, and developed a centralized customer care team.

Currently, Aaron is working at The Standard as the Director of Engineering. Aaron has held multiple roles within the company, including leading teams in the development of strategic cloud-based applications, overseeing enterprise web and application development, and managing Solutions Delivery Engineering teams.

Throughout their career, Aaron has consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills and a focus on implementing new technologies and practices to meet strategic business needs.

Aaron Sahlstrom obtained a B.S. in Management Information Systems from Oregon State University in 1998-1999. Prior to that, they pursued graduate studies in Information Technology and Economics at Lund University from 1997-1998. In addition, they have obtained several certifications in Agile, Cloud Computing, DevOps, and Product Management Fundamentals from LinkedIn in recent years.
