Amanda Kim

Director, Infrastructure Support Services

Amanda Kim serves as the Director of Infrastructure Support Services at The Standard in the Portland, Oregon Area since August 2019, overseeing a team transitioning infrastructure platforms to offshore teams and contributing to the Advisory Board for The Standard’s CRED program. Previously, Amanda was a co-owner of a family-operated Do It Best franchise in Urbana-Champaign, Illinois, and served as Support Services Manager at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, enhancing support functions for over 1,300 users. Amanda’s extensive experience includes roles at J.P. Morgan as an Information Technology Operations Manager, where significant tech investments were advised, and at Microsoft, where a career began as a Support/Operations Analyst, culminating in management of a large operational budget and team. Amanda holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor of Arts in Business & Management Information Systems from Eastern Washington University.
