Amy Waters

Amy Waters has extensive experience in product management and agile development. Amy is currently serving as the Director of Agile Product at The Standard since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Vitech Systems Group as a Senior Product Owner from April 2021 to July 2022, focusing on software innovation and market value improvement. Amy also worked at Unum for a significant period, holding positions such as Senior Product Manager and Director STD & Product Owner - Claims. During their time at Unum, they led product vision, optimized digital properties, and managed teams to drive customer-centric approaches and improve company services.

Amy Waters attended Covenant College from 1999 to 2000, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General. Prior to that, they attended The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga from 1991 to 1992 and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 1988 to 1990, both for the same field of study. In terms of certifications, they obtained a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance in 2013. Additionally, they have an Associate, Customer Service (ACS) certification from LOMA, although the year of obtaining it is unknown.
