Brian Askelson

Brian Askelson, CLU, ChFC has over three decades of experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as a Senior Employee Benefit Consultant at Standard Insurance Company since June 1999. In this role, Brian specializes in group Life, Short-Term Disability (STD), Long-Term Disability (LTD), Vision, and Dental products, focusing on providing exceptional service to local brokers and fee-based consultants while retaining group customers. Prior to joining Standard, Brian worked at Provident Life & Accident from 1987 to 1999 as a Consultant and District Manager, where the focus was on selling Group Insurance, Individual Disability Insurance, and Annuities. Educational qualifications include designations as Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) from The American College, a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Crown College.
