Dan Walker

Dan Walker, CPA, CISA, CIA, CISSP, currently serves as Sr. Director of Internal Audit at The Standard since December 2021. Previously, Dan held the position of Director of Professional Practices at IIA-The Institute of Internal Auditors and served as VP - Audit Group Manager at Huntington National Bank, where significant improvements in human capital strategies were achieved. Dan's experience includes roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as VP, Controls Officer Manager, and at Verizon Wireless as Senior Compliance/Internal Audit Manager, where a transformation of the department led to enhanced business results. Additional experience includes positions at Intermountain Healthcare, ISACA Utah Chapter as Treasurer, Deloitte & Touche as an ERS Senior Consultant, and PacifiCorp in finance and accounting roles. Dan holds a Master's and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Weber State University.
