Helen Umberger

Helen Umberger has extensive experience in information security, software development, and solutions architecture, with a career spanning over three decades. At The Standard, from January 2018 to January 2022, Helen focused on IT compliance, security policies, and application security operations, transitioning to the engineering team to utilize Azure skills and successfully migrate a mainframe application to an Azure and Workday solution. Prior experience at PacifiCorp included roles in SAP security, supervision of SAP security operations, and project management, while earlier work at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oregon involved quality assurance for membership systems as a senior programmer analyst. Helen holds a Master's degree in Software Engineering from Oregon Health & Science University and a Bachelor's degree in History from Portland State University.
