Ko Yang

Ko Yang is an accomplished actuarial professional with extensive experience in product ownership and consulting within the insurance and finance industries. Currently serving as a Product Owner/Actuary at The Standard, Ko Yang leads the implementation of the Dataiku platform, enhancing legacy modeling processes. Prior to this, Ko Yang held roles at WTW as a Senior Consultant, focusing on automation software and process development, and at GE Capital as a Senior Technical Product Manager, engaging actuarial and IT teams in model modernization and project leadership. Ko Yang's career also includes foundational actuarial roles at Great-West Life, where responsibilities encompassed valuations, financial reporting, and process improvement. Ko Yang holds a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Manitoba and participated in an International Exchange Program at The University of Texas at El Paso.
