Sharon Persad

Sharon Persad is currently the National Practice Leader for Absence Management at The Standard, where they teach continuing education courses on total absence management for brokers nationwide and support strategic service needs within the organization. With over 25 years of experience in the group benefits industry, Sharon has held various roles, including Absence Management Consultant and Absence Management Team Leader, where they received the Ovation Award for outstanding client implementation. They have a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Central Florida and continue to enhance their expertise in absence management by creating training materials and conducting sales presentations for clients.
