Stephanie Ching

Stephanie Ching is a seasoned actuary with extensive experience spanning over two decades in the insurance and financial services industry. Currently serving as a Senior Actuary at The Standard since 2018, Stephanie previously held the position of Director & Actuary at Prudential Financial, engaging in various critical roles including input lead for the Modeling Center of Excellence and roles in retirement insurance risk analytics. Prior experience includes significant actuarial roles at AIG and CNA, focusing on global consumer markets, life settlements, and group benefits. Stephanie began her career as an actuarial analyst and has contributed to financial management early on as an actuarial summer student. Academically, Stephanie holds an Hon. B. Sc. in Actuarial Science from the University of Toronto and a certificate in Mandarin from New York University. Additionally, Stephanie has completed piano performance certification through the Royal Conservatory of Music.
