Steve Curry

Steve Curry is a Director and Actuary at The Standard, where they lead group Short Term Disability and Paid Family and Medical Leave pricing in the Employee Benefits actuarial department. Previously, they held roles as a Senior Actuary and Actuary at the same company, where they developed pricing algorithms and monitored the profitability of various products. Additionally, Steve contributed to actuarial recruiting committees focused on enhancing the diversity and quality of candidates for the Actuarial Rotation Program. They began their career as a Senior Analyst at Towers Watson, specializing in defined benefit plan consulting. Steve holds a degree in Economics, Math, and Finance from Vanderbilt University.
